PrivacyJournal’s research revealed that, while Dubrovnik isn’t the frontrunner in terms of connectivity—particularly its average broadband speeds, which came out on the low side—its affordability, safety, large number of restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops per capita, and extensive shopping opportunities win festive travelers over. 

Connectivity and Workspace Ecosystem: Dubrovnik has invested heavily in digital infrastructure, making it a top choice for remote workers. The city boasts:

  • 10.55 coworking spaces per capita 
  • Over 1,100 restaurants per capita 
  • Multiple digital nomad-friendly cafes 

Christmas Experience: The city’s Christmas celebration is uniquely Mediterranean, blending traditional Croatian festivities with the beautiful Adriatic backdrop:
