The Benefits Of Having An Instagram Business Account

1) An Instagram Business account is free. There is not cost to it and the benefits are immense. Extremelly high exposure and engagement. Connect easily with fans and (potential) clients, present your business products and brand all for free.

2) Access to analytics – understand how your stories and paid posts perform overall. Also, you can see metrics like reach, engagement and also the type of audience. This will help your marketing team optimise the messages, content and ultimately the funnel.

3) Add information about your company such as location , business hours, and phone number

Having filled in the contact information for your business account, a contact button will appear in your profile. Instagram users simply have to click that button and then chose whether they want to email you, call you, send a message, or find your location. Make sure your description looks cool and sends the right message to your audience.

4) Ability to use Instagram paid ads

Owning an Instagram business account allows you to create ads from within the app.

If you want to promote a post, click on it and then select Promote. The time from ad creation to full promotion can range from a few hours to a day or more, as Instagram takes important steps to verify advertising on its platform. As you walk through the process, Instagram may require you to connect or authenticate with your Facebook account before purchasing.

Start promoting your best-performing posts with the ads tools to get your content in front of more people, and push your business profile. You’ll increase followers and engagement hence these users are more likely to interact with your profile and maybe even by directly if you have the contact details setup.

What is the difference between a Creator Account and a Business Acccount

Instagram clearly wants to separate businesses from influencers. The creator profiles include features and tools that specifically cater to influencers who are not attached to more traditional business models. They are officially recognizing that the two have different needs when it comes to social management.

The creator account features are tailored to help profiles with large followings. Instagram creator profiles give users more flexibility with how they label and brand themselves.

All the features from the Business account are included with the creator profile, so there’s no real reason to keep a business profile — unless you want more control over the branding over the account and more detailed analytics.

We hope by now you have already switch your Instagram account to a Bussiness account and are exploring the new functionalities that it offers.

Please let us know in the comments if you have any questions about this feature and tell us how you use it in your business.
