[REMOTE] Brand/PR Communications Specialist (PR & social media exp. req.) Description
Our client, a consulting company to foundations and associations, is looking for a Remote Marketing Communications Specialist to add to their team in the US. You will be responsible for creating original content, managing social media, and supporting campaigns that promote and increase visibility for their clients.
You will be tasked with understanding the voices of these different brands and translating them to meaningful outreach through various channels. They’re looking for someone with a strong writing background.
Someone who can look at a white paper and determine the key messages based on each audience. You must be comfortable and experienced in creating social media posts and distilling large research into condensed yet impactful blogs.
Although it would be a huge plus for candidates who have experience managing the technical aspects of running a campaign, it is much more important that you have hands-on experience authoring the content yourself. Because our client is like an agency environment, you will be juggling multiple clients with shifting priorities making attention to detail and patience for procedures much more pivotal in your overall success.

• Develop marketing, media relations and social media plans to achieve client goals
• Manage project timelines and track progress to ensure timeliness and budgeting
• Write, edit and proof talking points, key messages, speeches, blog posts, etc.
• Create SEO social content and manage organic and paid social media campaigns
• Analyze results and recommend strategies to improve performance
• Manage media relationships and partnerships for clients
• Field media inquiries and write or edit responses for association leaders
• Propose story strategies and write press releases
• Monitor and leverage trends to position clients as industry leaders
• Advise clients on member communications and engagement
[REMOTE] Brand/PR Communications Specialist (PR & social media exp. req.) Qualifications
• 7+ years of creative writing/content experience required
• 4+ years of branding and social media marketing experience required
• 2+ years of PR including media relations experience required
• Communications background within B2B, nonprofit, or membership associations required
