About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer/DevOps Engineer to oversee, automate, and manage our environment efficiently.
Scope & Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, ALB, CloudFront, and S3, across multiple regions to ensure optimal performance, high availability, and security.
- Provisioning and Automation: Utilize Pulumi to create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance using New Relic and proactively resolve issues. Optimize resource usage for cost efficiency and performance.
- Deployment Automation: Manage and enhance deployment pipelines with Octopus Deploy, ensuring seamless releases aligned with CI/CD best practices.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development teams to support deployments and resolve infrastructure issues. Offer technical expertise to improve team effectiveness.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, operational procedures, and policies to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
